Facing cancer feels less daunting when you connect with someone who truly gets it. Sharing experiences with those who’ve walked a similar path – whether through diagnosis, treatment, support, or survivorship – can offer a unique comfort and understanding that lightens the load.

Our mission is to bring hope and strength to cancer patients and their families by connecting them with personalized, one-on-one support from survivors and caregivers who have walked a similar path.
What We Do
Here to provide connection.
With our one-on-one Peer Mentorship Program, we’ll connect you with someone who’s walked a similar path someone who understands not just the medical side of things, but the emotional, social, and spiritual parts too. We take the time to get to know you and your story, your lifestyle, what matters to you—so the support feels real, personal, and comforting.
Following your first meeting, our Programs Team will provide continuous, personalized support and professional guidance every step of the way.
No matter where you are on your cancer journey—whether you’re newly diagnosed, in the middle of treatment, or navigating life after it. It’s always the right time to reach out to Cancer Aid Network.
Our matching process includes:
Fill out the match request form to get started, and a member of our Programs Team will contact you to better understand your individual circumstances, needs, and the challenges you're facing.
Our team of social work and healthcare professionals will thoughtfully match you with a trained peer mentor—or even several—based on the priorities and preferences you share. We aim to make those connections within 24 to 48 hours of your initial outreach.
Our Peer Mentors create a safe space for you to be yourself, meeting you wherever you are emotionally and allowing you to move through the process at your own pace. Most visits happen by phone or video call, whatever feels right for you.
